Many immigrants arrive in the United State undocumented - very few, if any, experience the reverse - being kidnapped, thrown on board a sailing ship - and escaping to a foreign (South Africa) - never to see Iowa agan.
This is the tale of my grandfather, Frank Rudd Bybee, and the (fictious) Journal he kept.
A tale of loss, love and adventure.
